John Wells (Arkansas)
John Paul Wells was a candidate for District 6 of the Arkansas State Senate. He previously was a Democratic member of the Arkansas House of Representatives, representing District 84 from 2005 to 2011.
He served as an Alderman of Paris and on the Paris School Board.
Biography

Wells ran in the 2012 election for Arkansas Senate, District 6. Wells ran unopposed in the May 22 Democratic primary and was defeated by Gary Stubblefield (R) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2][3][4]

2010
Wells was ineligible to run for re-election in 2010 due to the term limits of the Arkansas House of Representatives. He instead ran for District 6 of the Arkansas State Senate. He was defeated by Bruce Holland in the November 2 general election.[5]

On November 4, 2008, Wells won re-election to the 84th District Seat in the Arkansas House of Representatives, running unopposed in the general election.[6]
Wells raised $39,978 for his campaign.[7]
