John William Ross
John William Ross (1878-1925) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee.
He was nominated by President Warren Harding on May 26, 1921 to replace John McCall. He was confirmed by the Senate on May 31st, and received commission that same day. He served until his death on July 9, 1925.[1] Ross was succeeded in this position by Harry Bennett Anderson.
