Johnathan Dodds
Johnathan Dodds was a Democratic candidate for Governor of Washington in the 2016 elections.[1] He was defeated in the August 2 primary election.
Biography
Dodds is the son of an Air Force officer and served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He is an entrepreneur and has founded numerous businesses, including OfficeSupplyStore.com in 1997 and Continental Cuisine in 1984. He has also served as the vice president of Sentinel Television Network and has worked in the professional wrestling industry negotiation syndication deals.
Dodds attended the University of Southern California Film School, where he produced a film that won an award from the Directors Guild of America.[2]

Dodds filed to run as a Democrat in the 2016 election for governor of Washington.[1] He competed with three other Democrats, three Republicans, and four minor-party candidates in the August 2 top-two primary election. He was defeated by incumbent Governor Jay Inslee (D), who placed first in the primary election, and Seattle Port Commissioner Bill Bryant (R), who placed second.
