Johnny Bell
Johnny Bell (b. June 15, 1965) is a former Democratic member of the Kentucky House of Representatives, representing District 23 from 2007 to 2017. Bell served as majority whip from 2015 to 2017.
Bell did not seek re-election to the Kentucky House of Representatives in 2016.[1]
Biography
Bell earned his B.S. from Western Kentucky University and his J.D. from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law. His professional experience includes working as an attorney.

Elections for the Kentucky House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 20, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was January 28, 2014. Incumbent Johnny W. Bell ran unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Jeff Jobe ran unopposed in the Republican primary. Bell defeated Jobe in the general election.[6][7][8]

2012
Bell won re-election in the 2012 election for Kentucky House of Representatives District 23. He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on May 22, 2012, and was unopposed in the general election on November 6, 2012.[9][10]
2010
Bell's opponent in the November 2 general election was Republican candidate Pam Browning. According to official results, Bell defeated Browning by a margin of 7,741 to 5,906.[11]

Bell ran unopposed in the May 18 Democratic primary election.[12]
2008
On November 4, 2008, Bell was re-elected to the 23rd District Seat in the Kentucky House of Representatives with no opposition.[13] He raised $220 for his campaign.[14]
