I am a community nonprofit leader who has spent the last decade devoting my career to creating better working conditions and more inclusive environments for workers and families who live along Colorado's Front Range. As a Moderate Democrat, my approach to domestic and international issues impacting the future of Colorado, and our country, is based on pragmatic solutions that balance both fiscal and social responsibility.
  • I have a long, successful track record of working with the private, public, and nonprofit sectors to create more diverse, equitable, and inclusive environments for workers and families.
  • I'm a Moderate Democrat, which means I will support and champion policies that move our country forward without jeopardizing our country's financial wellbeing.
  • I believe in people over politics and I prioritize American workers and families, regardless of their race, religion, political affiliations, sexual orientation, or otherwise.
I am passionate about Colorado workers and families, the environment, transitioning to clean and renewable energy sources, modernizing policing and immigration, safeguarding our democracy, and improving trust in our government through transparency and civility.
I believe that our elected officials should be accessible, authentic, honest, compassionate, open-minded, problem solvers, patient, trust-worthy, vulnerable and demonstrate humility.
The U.S. House of Representatives have the unique opportunity to better represent their constituents within their defined district. They can be laser focused on the unique and specific needs of their constituents and represent them in Washington D.C.
I believe our country's greatest challenges over the next decade will be climate change, increased political polarization and safeguarding our democracy from those seeking chaos and voter suppression.
I believe that compromise is critical for effective policymaking. Opposing views and perspectives deserve to be heard, with the ultimate goal of finding common ground. We should strive for bipartisan legislation, with respect being held, not contempt, for legislators that strive to work together for the common goal of serving our country and her people.
