Johnny Presley (Republican Party) (also known as J. J.) ran for election to the U.S. Senate to represent Tennessee. He did not appear on the ballot for the Republican primary on August 6, 2020.

Biography

Johnny Presley was born and raised in Cumberland County, Tennessee. He graduated from Cumberland County High School in 1985. After attending Roane State Community College and Tennessee Tech University, Presley went on to earn his undergraduate degree and complete a post graduate physician assistant program at Trevecca Nazarene University. His professional experience includes working as an emergency medical technician and as a physician assistant. Presley was named a lifetime HERO Physician Assistant in the United States, the 2017 top Physician/Physician Assistant of Crossville, and the physician assistant of the year by the Tennessee Academy of Physician Assistants in 2004. Presley served on the Tennessee Committee of Physician Assistants for eight years and served as chairman for four of those years. He and his wife have two children.[1]
