Johnny Ray Harris is a circuit court judge for the Thirty-First Judicial Circuit, serving Floyd County of Kentucky.[1] He was appointed to the court by Governor Steve Beshear in October 2009.[2] Harris was re-elected without opposition in 2010 and 2014, and his current eight-year term expires on January 1, 2023.[3][4]Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; name cannot be a simple integer. Harris was retained to the circuit court by voters on November 2, 2010.[5][6]

Education

Harris received his undergraduate degree from Morehead State University and his J.D. from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University in 1996.[7][8]

Career

Before he became a circuit court judge, Harris served as a family court judge for the Thirty-First Judicial Circuit.[2]
