Johnny Valdez is a judge of the Cibola County Magistrate Court in New Mexico.

Valdez ran for election to the Cibola County Magistrate Court.
Primary: He was successful in the Democratic primary on June 3, 2014, receiving 45.5 percent of the vote. He competed against Tina M. Jaramillo, Nova D. Cornett, Mary Jaramillo-Barraza, and Kristina L. Hollar.
General: He was unopposed in the general election on November 4, 2014.

Education
Valdez received an associate degree in criminal justice and political science from Western New Mexico University in 1982.[3]
Career
Valdez has been the Cibola County sheriff since 2007.[3]
