This measure sought to replace the current ambulance levy with one set at a rate of $.15 per $100 of assessed property value for a further five years in order continue to pay for emergency medical services in the district.[2]

The question on the ballot:
| A replacement of a tax for the benefit of the TEMS Joint Ambulance District for the purpose of emergency medical services at a rate not exceeding 1.5 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.15 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 5 years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.[3] |
