A Joint Union Cemetery District Property Tax Levy Renewal question was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Tuscarawas County, which is in Ohio, where it was approved.

This question authorized the Join Union Cemetery District, including Mill Township and Uhrichsville and Dennison Cities, to renew a property tax levy of up to 0.5 mills ($0.5 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for five years in order to fund the operation and maintenance of Union Cemetery.[1]

Text of measure

Language on the ballot:

A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Joint Union Cemetery (including Mill Township, Uhrichsville and Dennison) for the purpose of operating and maintaining Union Cemetery at a rate not exceeding 0.5 mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.05, for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 5 years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.
