Hi I’m Jolene Austin and I’m running on the fact that residents should always come before politicians. I’m a middle class mom of 3 and living in the this time of severe inflation from food to property taxes. Our families are struggling and something needs to be done now to help. I’m a firm supporter of term limits for all elected officials. We need to give our country back to us and take the political corruption out of our communities.
The over inflated taxes we our paying on our homes is pushing people to sell and leave their beloved community. The amount of levies and bonds we are forced to pay every election cycle is out of control. Wasted tax dollars on bills full of earmarks is leaving little to actually help us residents.
Condoleeza Rice is my most favored politician. She always stood her ground and was not afraid of backlash. She is probably the most intelligent woman we have ever had in the political world.
The main objective of an elected official should always be to put residents first. We need to stop the super pacs from dictating whom is elected over true candidates.
Always leave a place better than you found it
I worked at Burger King when I 15 and throughout high school
A boy named it. Shows the horrific struggles a person can overcome to be the best person they can be. No one regardless of upbringing has to ever be less than anyone else.
The governor regardless of political affiliation must work together with the legislatures to pass bills that help all of his or her constituents.
For the state of Ohio the taxes are pushing out both residents and businesses. We are still currently funding our schools through unconstitutional funding that was deemed illegal back in 1997. Neither side has touched this topic enough to stop it. Gas and energy prices being through the roof right now is affecting everything from home prices down to a family being able to even go to anything recreational.
I do not. I believe it is time to put political offices back in the hands of our common residents. Too many politicians have been in office for far too long and do not understand the needs of their struggling constituents.
The gerrymandering needs to end immediately. Cities that border each other should be in the same district. You can’t force maps that favor only voter political affiliation and should never be used in redistribution of maps.
Why was 8 afraid of 7? Because 7 ate 9
Absolutely. You have to reach out to the middle to get anything achieved. If all we do is disagree without compromise no battle will ever be won.
