Jon A. Maturi

Jon A. Maturi is the chief judge of the Minnesota Ninth Judicial District and he serves in Itasca County, Minnesota. He was appointed to this court in 1996 and was elected in 1998 and 2004. His current term ends in January of 2017.[1]
Education
Maturi received his B.A. degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1969 and his J.D. degree from the DePaul University School of Law in 1977.[1]
Career
Prior to his judicial appointment, Judge Maturi worked from 1977 to 1996 as a Public Defender in the 9th Judicial District. He was also an attorney and partner of the firm Maturi and Undem.[1]
2010 election
Maturi was re-elected after running unopposed.[2]
