Camarillo’s campaign website stated the following:

“	Strong Economy, Lower Taxes, and Less Government My priority is to ensure wages stay high so families and individuals can create their own path toward prosperity. I will also fight to keep taxes low, to reduce regulations, and to rein in federal spending. Caring For Our Veterans Veterans experience homelessness at a rate far greater than the general population and also have double the suicide rate of civilians. When elected, I will work with federal agencies to make sure that veterans receive the most cutting edge technologies to support their continued growth. Protecting the 2nd Amendment It is the natural right of every person to possess the means to defend the things that matter most to them against violence and theft. Protecting Life Protecting the life of every Texan, including the unborn, will be my priority. I am 100% Pro-Life. Strong Borders Texas must support border patrol agents by allocating resources to keep our state safe. We must eliminate programs that attract illegal immigrants to Texas and stop human traffickers from taking advantage of our weak border security.	”
