I have spent the past 10 years in TV & Film Production working for major studios like Fox & Warner Brothers after serving as a missionary in Latin America and a Program Director for a non profit.
  • After being lied to with the ACA we need to make an honest effort toward actual Healthcare Reform with special emphasis on Mental Health and Substance Abuse.
  • Our Immigration System is terribly flawed and needs to be completely overhauled in a bipartisan way.
  • Our National Debt has skyrocketed in recent years, this is unsustainable, and must be dealt with for the first time since the mid-90's.
Healthcare Reform, Immigration Reform, Fiscal Conservatism, and standing against the rise of Socialism within the Democratic Party.
My grandfather Jack is my personal hero. Throughout his lifetime he was a man of principal, honesty, integrity, and godliness. He was never afraid to do the right thing, even if it cost him personally, and no matter who you were he welcomed you with open arms.
Honesty, Integrity, and protecting the Constitution at all costs.
I have never taken no for an answer, I started in film without any contacts, experience, or money and within 10 short years I rose from the smallest productions to the largest on Television, specializing in large scale logistics, planning, and budgeting.
I would like to be remembered for serving my constituents better than any Representative ever has, and I would like them to be able to say that I fought for the Constitution and its principals every moment of every day I served.
The one that stands out is the Impeachment of President Clinton, I was 9 years old at the time, and I was shocked to see a President lie under oath on national television. A stark contrast to President Trump's Articles of Impeachment, and the lack of relation to any US penal code.
My first job was as a Program Director for a non-profit in my hometown that started after school programs for at risk youth in the worst areas of town. I was there for a year and in that time successfully opened 10 such programs that I was able to help become self sufficient.
Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand, because it shows the dangers of Socialism and Complacency, and how they go hand in hand.
When I was a senior in High School I wanted nothing more than to serve in the Marine Corps, but I became ineligible when I was diagnosed with Epilepsy that same year due to a head injury I sustained. I had to fight every day, eventually being medically cleared 5 years later, and working my way into one of the most exclusive industries in the world.
The power of the purse, and it's constitutional responsibility to be a check on the Executive Branch.
No, in fact I believe we should have representatives from all walk of life in order to properly inform legislation and our representation of the constituents we are elected to serve.
Paying down our National Debt of 26 Trillion, and Unfunded Liabilities of over 126 Trillion.
I believe we need term limits for House members that don't exceed 12 years of service.
Currently Jim Jordan, Doug Collins, and Matt Gaetz. I believe they have brought integrity and grit back to the Republican Party that we have seriously lacked for some time.

Campaign website

Hollis' campaign website stated the following:

Jon Hollis is running for congress in Texas's 32nd District, because he believes in the community, this amazing Country, and the rights of each and every one of you. Inspiration, dedication, and loyalty are keys to success in a world driven by people who don't have your interests in mind.

We have to fight back for those who otherwise wouldn't be able to. Jon wants to give a voice to all that call the 32nd District of Texas Home. It's time for a change.

Jon grew up in poverty, he saw first hand how the Government systems destroy the very things they claim to be saving. While a Senior in High School, he decided to serve his Country by joining the Marines. One week after taking the ASVAB, Jon experienced two epileptic seizures and was diagnosed with Epilepsy shortly after. Unable to serve his Country in the way he had planned, Jon still wanted to help others.

Jon took a spiritual step, along with the Church, to do Missions work in many other Countries. He built a Church in Mexico so that less fortunate people could have a place to worship. In Germany, Jon was the Sound Engineer for a Christian Band. A Band that was Ministering to at risk youth. When his journey took him to Ecuador, he started a sports outreach program for an orphanage. While in the Jungles of Costa Rica, Jon installed cement culverts for clean running water.

Jon Hollis is a leader and a Role Model. When he was unable to join the Marines due to a Medical Condition, Jon still found a way to serve others.

Jon Hollis went to Trinity Western University, for Acting. One of only five applicants that auditioned were accepted into the program. While taking a communications class, his love for creating was born. A change from Acting to Production was inevitable. Jon became one of the youngest Assistant Directors and line production managers. In Ten short years he had come from the smallest productions imaginable, to the #1 Rated Drama on Network Television, 911 for 20th Century Fox.

Once again Jon felt the need to serve the people in one of the biggest ways possible. Running For Congress. When the TV Networks found out that a Conservative was working for them, Jon was Fired on the spot.

After Ten years of impeccable service to them, Supporting The President of the United States, Donald J. Trump made him "Dangerous". That did not stop Jon Hollis, that fueled the fire to help others and become a leader that won't give up on anyone.

Jon Hollis is For The People. When things get tough, he fights harder. When someone is in need, he is there to help. He will be there on your side when political agendas are trying to take your Rights and Freedoms away.

We need more people like Jon Hollis to stand up for whats right, to take the stand when nobody else will. For The People of Texas's 32nd District, Jon Hollis will be there.[2][3]
