Jon Oldham was a 2014 candidate for the Summit County Court of Common Pleas General Division in Akron, Ohio.[1]

Oldham ran for election to the Summit County Court of Common Pleas General Division.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 49.7 percent of the vote. He competed against Todd McKenney. [1][2] 

2013

Oldham ran for election to the Akron Municipal Court.

General: He was defeated by Katarina V. Cook in the general election on November 5, 2013, after receiving 49.97 percent of the vote.

When the first results were posted, Oldham led in this race by only sixteen votes. After provisional and additional absentee ballots were counted on November 18, incumbent Katarina V. Cook was seventeen votes ahead of Oldham. The results were certified on November 26, 2013. An automatic recount was then triggered due to the close race. After the recount, Cook was shown to have won by fifteen votes. In total, she had 13,888 votes to Oldham's 13,873.[3][4][5][6][7][8][9]

Education

Oldham received his undergraduate degree from Ohio University and his J.D. from the University of Akron School of Law.[10]
