Richardson ran for re-election in the 2012 election for New Hampshire House of Representatives, Merrimack 22. Richardson was unopposed in the September 11 primary and was defeated by Alan J. Turcotte (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[6][7]
2010
On November 2, 2010, Richardson won election to the New Hampshire House of Representatives.[8][9]
Richardson advanced past the September 14 primary election. He faced incumbent Carol McGuire (R), Michael Brewster (D), Dan McGuire (R), Mary Frambach (D), and Tony Soltani (R) in the November 2 general election.
