Jon Van Allsburg is a judge for the 20th Circuit Court in Ottawa County, Michigan. He was first elected to this position on November 2, 2004 and took office the following January 1st. His term expired on January 1, 2019.[1]

Education

Allsburg earned his undergraduate degree from Central Michigan University. He then received his law degree from the Michigan State University College of Law in 1980.[2]

Career

Prior to his appointment to the Circuit Court, Allsburg was a shareholder in the firm of Coupe, Van Allsburg & Pater, P.C. from November of 1983 to December of 2004.[2]

2012 election

Van Allsburg was re-elected after running unopposed in 2012.[3] [4]
