Jonathan Russell Bullock (1815-1899) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island. He joined the court in 1865 after an appointment from Abraham Lincoln. At the time of his appointment, he was a judge for the Rhode Island State Supreme Court. He resigned on September 15, 1869.[1]

Judicial career

Bullock was nominated by President Abraham Lincoln on February 9, 1865. He was confirmed by the Senate on February 11, 1865, and received commission that same day. He resigned on September 15, 1869. Bullock was succeeded in this position by John Power Knowles.[1]
