Jonathan Steinberg was a federal judge for the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. He joined the court in August 1990 after being nominated by President George H.W. Bush. He retired in August 2005 and was recalled for senior duty. He is inactive.[1]

Steinberg earned his B.A. in 1960 from Cornell University and went on to earn an L.L.B. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law three years later.[1]
