I'm Jonathan Treble, a first-generation college graduate, small business owner, and public school dad running because the ladder of opportunity is being pulled up and working families are being left behind.

I grew up in a middle-class family and started working at a young age. With union-member grandparents and hardworking parents, I learned early-on that hard work can help someone realize the American dream. Following the example my family set, I attended the University of Pennsylvania, where I juggled three jobs and relied on student loans and federal work-study to put myself through my dream school.

After graduating college, I went on to found a successful small business, WithMe, a smart amenities company I built from my living room into a firm with more than 100 employees. Marrying profits with purpose, WithMe is green, hires veterans, and gives company ownership to every employee. I’ve chosen to reinvest in our employees: increasing salaries, alongside important benefits such as training and tuition sponsorship.

Then in 2024, I nearly died from an angioma (a vascular brain growth). While fighting for my life, I had to struggle with my insurance company to get my surgery covered. Ultimately having to switch health insurance plans to do so. Without the Affordable Care Act and its prohibition on denying pre-existing conditions, I could be dead today.

Now, I’m running to make sure every family gets a fair shot to climb the ladder and a safety net if they slip.
  • The American dream is simply unaffordable for an ever increasing number of us. In Scottsdale, the median rent has doubled. Meanwhile, grocery prices have increased by nearly a third. Health insurance premiums have increased nearly 25% since 2019. Mega corporations make record profits while Arizonans’ pay remains stagnant. But we can build an economy that rewards work, not just wealth. That means smart, targeted policies to lower costs and invest in the middle class. It means making sure everyone has a fair chance to succeed. In Congress, I will restore programs that I and many Americans benefited from, make billionaires pay their fair share, and secure abundance for all of us.
  • We need real healthcare reform, but Congressional Republicans gutted Medicaid to fund tax cuts for billionaires, putting rural hospitals, seniors, and working families at risk. We need a healthcare system that works for everyone. While respecting individual choice and preserving private options, I support strengthening the Affordable Care Act and giving families more stability and fewer surprises when they go to the doctor or fill a prescription. I will fight to reverse the Medicaid cuts while working to lower premiums, protect coverage for preexisting conditions, and invest in mental health services and rural clinics. No one should face a life-threatening illness alone or go broke trying to fight it.
  • We depend on our environment. That is especially obvious here in Arizona, where we have to address limited water supplies, the cleanliness of our air and water, and a changing climate. We can balance our need for development with our need for protecting the only environment we have. The company I built has a long track record of emphasizing sustainability while growing and I assure you: we can make this work. Instead of working towards solutions, Congressional Republicans push policies that make these challenges even harder to solve. They voted to repeal vital tax credits that fuel future economic growth and expand our clean energy resources. They voted against conserving public lands, keeping our water clean, and protecting wildlife.
Reproductive Rights: Reproductive health decisions should be made by the patients and their doctors. I will fight to restore the protections of Roe v. Wade and pass federal safeguards to protect them from future attacks.

Indigenous Rights: The voices and rights of our tribal nations must be respected in every federal decision. That means regular consultation with tribal leadership, concrete federal investment in priorities like health, housing, and water, and a real commitment to honoring sovereignty.

Immigration: I support modernizing the immigration system, protecting Dreamers, and investing in smart border technology, while opposing the cruelty and chaos of the current administration.
The job of any elected official is simple: use every tool available to make the lives of the people they represent better. Too many in Washington have forgotten that. They promised to make our lives better, but instead they’ve put politics and special interests first.

While families across our community struggle to afford healthcare, Congressional Republicans are succeeding with taking it away. While costs continue to rise, they have backed more reckless policies to make life harder for working people.

We deserve better. You deserve a Representative laser-focused on making your life better. Focused on fighting back against the special interests agenda coming out of DC. Focused on creating jobs that are strong enough for everyone to pay the bills with just one full time gig. Focused on protecting our children’s education, and protecting our seniors. Focused on delivering for you. That is the core responsibility of an elected official.
Last year, I woke up on a business trip and I couldn't feel the left side of my face. And the feeling didn't come back. So I did what anyone would do… I ignored it for a while… and then I decided to go to the doctor.

I got a call from my doctor a couple days later. It was a blood vessel growth (an angioma), and they needed to do major surgery. I was 35 and otherwise healthy. I just couldn't believe it. It wasn't on my bingo card for that year. I found myself making a living will, preparing my affairs, and telling my daughter that I might not wake up and we might be saying goodbye forever.

I also found that my insurance wouldn’t pay for the 2 million dollar surgery. I switched plans and, thanks to the lifesaving law Democrats passed in 2010 called the Affordable Care Act, my surgery was covered in the end.

Every day, someone in our community faces a similar situation. They need life-saving care, but instead of focusing on surviving, they’re made to argue with insurance companies to get what they need to survive. It shouldn’t be this hard. In Congress, I’ll fight everyday so everyone has access to high quality, affordable healthcare.
Yes, compromise is essential to effective policymaking. It is the only way to achieve lasting solutions that face our nation. No single party has all the answers, and progress only happens when we work together in good faith. Finding common ground is not a weakness, it is how we find better solutions for Americans.
