Jonathan Woodman
Jonathan Woodman is a judge of the Alaska Third District Superior Court. He assumed office in 2016. His current term ends in 2027.
Woodman ran for re-election for judge of the Alaska Third District Superior Court. He won in the retention election on November 3, 2020.
He was appointed by Gov. Bill Walker (I) on October 26, 2016, to fill a vacancy left by the retirement of Eric Smith.[1]
Biography
Woodman earned his bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He later received his J.D. from Ohio State University. Woodman worked as an attorney for Guess & Rudd P.C. from 1999 to 2008. Woodman was a senior assistant attorney general and state ethics attorney at the time of his appointment.[1]
