Biography
Jonathon Luers was born in Chicago, Illinois. Luers earned a bachelor's degree and a graduate degree from Northwestern University in 1981 and 1983, respectively. His career experience includes working as a software engineer specializing in software product development and support. Luers has been affiliated with the Northwest Side GOP Club.[1]

|- My goal in Springfield is to push the Illinois Senate to do what's best for the average Illinoisan, in particular to reduce gas taxes and increase energy production to reduce inflation.
- Another top priority is to support law enforcement and the prosecution of criminal activity with deterrent sentences; and to repeal the SAFE-T Act in particular.
- A fundamental priority is to support and encourage the integrity and autonomy of families, ensuring parental rights and the responsibility to raise responsible children.
