Jordan Burgess is the Political Director for the Republican Party of West Virginia. Burgess was named Political Director in January 2015.[1]
Career
Jordan Burgess served as RNC victory director for the Wood County Republican Party in 2012.[2] He was a Legislative Analyst in the West Virginia Senate from February to April 2013. Burgess aided in operating GOP field activities and operations during the 2013-2014 election year.[3] In 2015, Burgess was appointed to the position of Political Director of the Republican Party of West Virginia. Immediately preceding his appointment, Burgess was Data Manager for the Republican Party of West Virginia.
According to the Charleston, W.Va.-based State Journal, "Burgess was key to the 2014 campaign cycle as Data Director." The West Virginia Republican Party Chairman Conrad Lucas told the paper that "Jordan played one of the most important roles of the cycle. Modernizing the West Virginia Republican Party was essential to 2014..."[1]
