I am a fifth generation Wyomingite who loves this wonderful state and the people who live here.
  • I believe solutions to Wyoming problems need to be Wyoming focused.
  • I believe in considering every issue with nuance and thoughtfulness.
  • I will deal with all people with kindness and respect.
I am passionate about the development of our outdoors industry, valuing Wyoming workers and public employees and crafting policy that supports every Wyoming community being a livable and viable community. I wish to make a Wyoming where young people see a future and home.
I look up to many people in my community who do work for the benefit of others, without needing a reason to do so. I try to follow that example at all times because the world is a better place when we all do something to make it better
I am kind, thoughtful, and familiar with Wyoming, its people, our culture, and its challenges.
Faithful and honest representation of their constituents.
I would like to be remembered as a kind person who worked hard on behalf of others and our community.
I remember the Srebrenica massacre during the Balkan Wars. I was probably 6 years old.
I worked on a ranch as a general laborer during the summers in high school, doing mostly landscaping and fencing work.
The loss of our young people and the decline in extractive industry revenue.
Building relationships is the only way to craft effective and wholistic legislation.
I admire Fred Emerich who represented my district in the Wyoming Senate for many years.
Both are necessary for the public to trust and engage with government. They are crucial for good governance.

My name is Jordan Evans, and I am a 33-year-old, born-and-raised Wyomingite. Aside from a quickish stint in Laramie to earn my Geography degree from the University of Wyoming, I have proudly lived in Cheyenne my entire life. I work for both the City of Cheyenne and Laramie County as a cartographer, and I help provide mapping resources to our community. Outside of work, I enjoy playing guitar and exploring Wyoming’s outdoors with my wife, Sarah, and our soon-to-be third grade daughter, Olivia. I am running to represent House District 7 in the Wyoming Legislature.
  • I want to build a better future for Wyoming.
  • I want to focus on finding what works.
  • I want to earn your trust.
My platform centers around three ideas: Building our future through retaining younger generations, finding what works regardless of ideological constraints, and earning the trust of Wyomingites. To accomplish these core ideas, I would invest in our local governments and community colleges to build healthy, appealing communities. Additionally, I would build on Wyoming’s strengths, like tourism and energy development, to find ways that allow Wyoming to compete on a regional and national scale while bolstering state revenue streams.
