It was my Grandmother who introduced me to Alaska, and at 14 years of age… I was SMITTEN! “Is it really possible to be in LOVE with a PLACE?” I wondered. I recall stepping with “Mima” onto the balcony of our cruise ship room, seeing glaciers for the first time, my ruminations were answered, it is truly possible! Though I lived in California, in Alaska I AM HOME. My passion to return to the Great Land only grew as true Love does, and upon my 20th birthday I committed my whole being to making my life here, in Alaska and since that time, I've only looked ahead. It’s time for me to give back to this great State from which I have received so much.
