Jordan Rickards was a 2011 Republican candidate for District 17 of the New Jersey State Senate.

Rickards is an attorney. Upon graduating from law school, Jordan completed a Superior Court clerkship and worked in the Attorney General's office. He then became a prosecutor for the Middlesex County Superior Court for three and a half years, then left to start his own law firm. Jordan also hosts his own conservative blog, The Rickards Review.

Rickards graduated from Liberty University in 2001. In 2004, Rickards graduated from Washington and Lee University School of Law.

Rickards was defeated in the 2011 election for New Jersey Senate District 17. He ran unopposed in the primary on June 7, 2011. Rickards was defeated by Democratic incumbent Bob Smith in the general election which took place on November 8, 2011.[1]
