I'm Jordan Wagner. I'm a mother of two elementary aged students, wife of a veteran, a small business owner, community volunteer and hopeful School Board Trustee.
  • To increase parent and community input in Northside. We need more communication between parents, teachers and the board. The miscommunication and frustration can be partially solved by listening better to the community.
  • Increase teacher and support staff pay. Northside teachers dos not get a raise last year and support staff only just this year got to a minimum wage increase. Our staff and teachers deserve a living wage.
  • Increase on financial oversight. Being more transparent in the financial decisions the board makes will help the community know where the money is being spent and why.
Early education, public education, discipline and any policy's that affect our children and teachers in public schools.
I beleive elected officials are responsible for keeping the promises they said during their campaign and listening to their constituents when deciding on policies that will effect them.
I'm a long standing PTA volunteer and our district has a good relationship between PTA and our schools. I intend on strengthening that relationship and opening up the school board committees to more volunteers.
