Biography
Jordan Wright was born in New York, New York. Wright's career experience includes working as a chief of staff. He earned a bachelor's degree from Syracuse University.[1]

- Housing: We need to promote the development of more affordable, equitable, and accessible housing. I will fight to ensure that Harlem families are not priced out of our great village. Moreover, I will work tirelessly to promote ownership opportunities for Harlemites seeking to invest in both residential and commercial real estate.
- Jobs: We must use these generational challenges we face as opportunities to invest in our people and provide them with pathways to change their lives. The development and upgrades needed to address the housing crisis represent a chance for our community to learn skills that not only can lead to careers in labor unions, but also BIPOC-led businesses that hire locally. Climate change is also an emergency that has created a once in a lifetime chance to bring high paying jobs and billions of dollars of economic development to our community. I will use my platform within government to ensure resources are focused on enriching the economic reality of Harlem, and facilitate public private partnerships that invest in our people.
- Youth Services & Education: The most important investment we can make is in our young people. We must ensure that youth growing up in Harlem have the necessary infrastructure around them to live up to their full potential. This includes resources devoted to mental health, afterschool programs, academic advisors, workforce opportunities, green spaces, and public safety. We must also ensure that parents in Harlem have access to an array of quality academic pathways for their children. Moreover, homelessness and food insecurity are fundamental issues we must invest in to make our education system truly equitable. In Albany, I will be a voice for the youth and ensure that we are prioritizing policies that provide pathways for them to thrive.
