I was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and raised on the island, in New York, and in New Jersey. I have been a Floridian for thirty years and a Central Floridian for fifteen. In September 2025, after a decade of federal service, I concluded my career with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), where I served as Branch Chief for Budget, and Financial Management in the Southeast Region, Field Operations Directorate. I’m grateful for the colleagues who safeguard our immigration system and for pursuing a mission with integrity and accountability. Previously, I served as Chief of Staff for District S22 in Atlanta, Georgia, overseeing administration, financial management, facilities, asset management, training, safety and security, and community and congressional outreach across an eight-state jurisdiction. I am a retired U.S. Navy Supply Corps officer with twenty years of service, having served afloat, ashore, and overseas. I have over thirty years of experience leading people, managing resources, and guiding organizational change across public and private sectors. I hold a Juris Doctor from Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, a Master of Public Administration from Troy University, and a Bachelor of Science in Management of Human Resources from Regents College, University of the State of NY. I am a proud husband, father, and grandfather. My hobbies include restoring classic cars, auto mechanics, and reading history.
  • Strong, accountable leadership that delivers results: fiscal discipline, transparent budgeting, and pro-growth policies that expand opportunity for every family.
  • Secure communities and lawful immigration: enforce the rule of law, support lawful pathways, and invest in border security and public safety to protect families and workers.
  • Local control, parental choice, and opportunity for all: empower families with choice in education, support small businesses, and invest in workforce development so Floridians can thrive.
• Economic opportunity and job creation: reducing red tape, lowering costs for families, and supporting small businesses.

• Public safety and the rule of law: ensuring safe neighborhoods while protecting due process and civil rights.

• Education and workforce readiness: high-quality outcomes, school choice options, and life-long learning pathways for all ages.
