Jorge Rodriguez currently represents Place 7 on the Grapevine-Colleyville Board of Trustees in Texas. He first won election to the board in 2008. In the general election on May 6, 2017, he ran unopposed and was re-elected.

Rodriguez also won re-election against challenger Mark Assaad during the general election on May 10, 2014.

Rodriguez earned his B.S in electrical engineering from the University of Puerto Rico. He later earned an M.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Rodriguez also holds an MBA from the University of Dallas. His professional experience includes working in telecommunications, transportation, and the gaming industry.[1]

Three of seven seats on the Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District board of trustees were up for at-large general election on May 6, 2017. Place 6 candidate Doug Noell and Place 7 incumbent Jorge Rodriguez both ran unopposed. Place 5 incumbent Jesse Rodriguez defeated challenger Julie Lawrence.[2]
