Jorge Vila is a magistrate judge for the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. Chief Judge Robert E. Morin appointed him to the court in June 2017.[1]

Education

Vila received a B.B.A. in accounting from the University of Puerto Rico. He obtained a J.D. from InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico.[1]

Career

Vila's professional experience includes working as a member of the D.C. Bar for nine years and as a member of the Counsel for Child Abuse and Neglect Attorney Panel for seven years. He also worked as an investigator and attorney for indigent defendants.[1]
