I am Jorge Zavala, a successful businessman and entrepreneur, who has built several thriving businesses and proudly produces my own line of eco-friendly and sustainable green products. However, beyond my professional accomplishments, I consider myself a common man with a deep-rooted passion for fighting for the rights and empowerment of the everyday citizens.

My journey has taught me the value of perseverance and the importance of never backing down from challenges. I have experienced first-hand the struggles faced by ordinary individuals, and it is this empathy that fuels my commitment to making a difference in society. I firmly believe that democracy should be a system that works for the benefit of the commonwealth, rather than a select few.

With a tenacious spirit and a relentless drive, I am dedicated to working towards bringing democracy back into the hands of the people. I aim to give a voice to those who have felt neglected and marginalized, ensuring that their needs and aspirations are represented and addressed.

As a presidential candidate for the Green Party, I am driven by a clear vision and unwavering determination. My personal journey as a visually impaired individual, battling against prejudice and bias, fuels my commitment to fostering a society where every American can thrive. Rooted in transparency, accountability, and inclusion, my mission is to bring about transformative change within the United States. Our nation stands at a critical juncture, grappling with economic challenges, national security concerns, and failing democratic systems. It is imperative that we overhaul and reform these broken structures, embracing the necessary changes for sustainable growth and development.
To lead this much-needed reform, I have already embarked on a proactive path toward a brighter future. Green technologies hold immense potential to revolutionize our society, & I am fully dedicated to championing these innovations. By harnessing the power of fiber optics technology, we can transform the way we access and utilize solar light, bringing reliable and sustainable energy to all corners of our country. Through collaboration with farmers we will reimagine agriculture reducing water dependency & increasing productivity all while eliminating the use of harmful chemicals herbicides & pesticides. This commitment to sustainable farming practices will not only foster a healthier environment but also ensure the wellbeing of our community
Furthermore, I will spearhead groundbreaking advancements in harnessing solar light through fiber optics. By bringing affordable and efficient light to areas without electricity, we can bridge the energy gap and empower individuals and families. Through strategic investments in innovative programs, we will create new industries, foster economic growth, and lay the foundation for a self-sustaining future. To propel this vision forward, we must break free from stifling policies and legislation that hamper our economic progress. What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

I am passionate about advocating for policies that promote quality, equal, and fair opportunities for all American citizens. Currently, certain public policies are imposing barriers and interfering with individuals' rights to pursue personal and professional development within their communities. These policies infringe upon the free and equal rights of Americans to grow and thrive without prejudice and bias.

One of the primary issues I wish to address is the lack of dedication and effectiveness displayed by some political officials. It is disheartening to see them fail in fulfilling their duties, lacking the knowledge and skills required to represent their constituents properly. This negligence hinders the progress of our society and undermines the principles of democracy.

Additionally, I am deeply concerned about the ongoing violence and segregation based on race and gender that persists in our society. Inclusion is not only a moral imperative but also essential for the democratic growth of our nation. When the voices of marginalized groups are suppressed, it leads to a failure of democracy itself. It is crucial to ensure that every citizen, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to make their voice heard and participate in shaping our collective future.

What was your very first job? How long did you have it?

I have had the privilege of working under the guidance of George Zavala Sr. for a decade in his capacity as a certified public accountant. Throughout my tenure, I have provided valuable support in various aspects of his practice, including client recordkeeping, tax preparation, quarterly reports, business proposals, financial projections, and general clerical office duties.

Working alongside George Zavala Sr., I have gained substantial experience and knowledge in maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records. This involves meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that all financial information is accurately recorded and organized to facilitate seamless tax preparation and other relevant reporting requirements.

My role also extends to assisting in the preparation of tax returns, paying keen attention to the ever-changing tax laws, regulations, and deadlines. By staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the field, I have become proficient in preparing comprehensive and precise tax returns, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.

Furthermore, I have been actively involved in generating quarterly reports for clients, providing them with valuable insights into their business performance and financial standing. This includes analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and preparing concise and informative reports that enable informed decision-making.

In addition to my client-facing responsibilities, I have been entrusted with drafting business proposals and financial projections to support client endeavors and expansions. By leveraging my proficiency in data analysis and financial forecasting, I have contributed to the development of strategic plans and proposals that aid clients in achieving their goals.

What is the first historical event that happened in your lifetime that you remember? How old were you at the time?

One of the most significant historical events that continues to impact my life is my participation and victory with the Concord Blue Devils Drum Corps in the Drum Corps International Drum Corps World Championships. This momentous achievement in my first year paved the way for a second year of participation, shaping the Blue Devils into a legendary dynasty.

Being a part of this world-class group of talented musicians and color guard champions has taught me invaluable life lessons. The Blue Devils staff and members have instilled in me the importance of teamwork, pushing ourselves to excel in performance, and understanding the fundamental values that distinguish the Blue Devils from others. In the presence of such excellence, the concepts of second and third place hold little significance because the Blue Devils continuously strive to exceed expectations and excel in the realm of drum corps.

Participating in the Blue Devils has been a distinct honor and a personal obligation to uphold the commitment to excellence and remarkable performances that the organization is known for. It is through hard work, perseverance, and continuously challenging ourselves that we can fulfill our destiny and achieve multiple world championships. The journey with the Blue Devils has shaped my character and taught me the values of dedication, discipline, and relentless pursuit of greatness.

The impact of my participation with the Blue Devils Drum Corps echoes in my life to this day. It has influenced my approach to teamwork, my drive for success, and my understanding of the level of commitment required to achieve excellence. Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?

I hold deep admiration and dedication to the memory of former President John F. Kennedy, who profoundly and positively represented the citizens of the United States. His unwavering commitment to support and defend the Constitution continues to have a lasting impact.

One of the notable aspects of President Kennedy's legacy was his ability to connect with and inspire the American people through his speeches. His words were delivered with clarity, thoughtfulness, and a genuine understanding of the concerns and aspirations of the nation. His support for different perspectives demonstrated a commitment to finding objective solutions that would benefit all of humankind, particularly during the challenging times of the Cold War.

President Kennedy's leadership was exemplified by his famous challenge to put American scientists on the moon, sparking innovation and competition in aeronautics and space exploration. His endorsement of technological advancements ensured that the United States maintained its position as a leader in history and innovation, setting an example for the world.

However, today's circumstances present new challenges. The United States has faced setbacks in delivering on its promises, leading to concerns regarding national security, particularly in the context of technological competition with China and Russia. The industrial capabilities and technological advancements of these nations have not been fully supported by the United States, which raises threats to security and economic stability.

In order to honor President Kennedy's dream and sustain the welfare of our nation, it is crucial to reinforce the American dollar and continue to prioritize innovation and technological advancements. By embracing President Kennedy's vision, we can strive to overcome challenges and promote the common good within the United States.

What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?

A leader should possess traits of unwavering determination, a drive for positive outcomes, and the ability to inspire societies, leaving no room for doubt or hesitation. They must have a strong belief in themselves and the people around them, never compromising their values and constantly striving to be flexible and adaptable. In times of failure or hardship, history has shown that anyone can succeed with the right mindset and response.

A leader must possess the ability to distinguish between personal truth, political truths, and objective truth, striving for wisdom that can positively impact their family, community, and ultimately civilization. Manifesting one's desires and goals is essential, understanding that success is not solely measured by wealth and material possessions, but by the correction of societal inequities and the defense of ethical principles.

It is crucial for a leader to uphold the American constitution based on natural law, without wavering or compromising its principles. To shine through darkness, I believe a good leader must serve as a beacon of light. With my personal journey of overcoming challenges due to vision loss, I have gained a unique perspective on life. Strengthening my other senses and relying on intuition, I surpass mere appearances. My knowledge spans science, technology, production, sales, marketing, and theological philosophy, granting a comprehensive understanding of the world's intricacies.

This well-rounded background helps me grasp nuances of bias and approach situations with an open mind. Leading with empathy and compassion, I create a positive, inclusive environment, acknowledging diverse perspectives. Resilience and adaptability guide me through life's tribulations, persisting in pursuit of triumph. Such experiences have instilled in me perseverance, determination, and self-belief—proof that limitations can be conquered and dreams realized. I firmly believe in the potential of every individual to navigate their own challenges successfully.

If I could embody a superhero or character, it would undoubtedly be Daredevil. His journey as a visually impaired hero resonates deeply with me and inspires my own aspirations. Daredevil's vision impairments have not hindered him but instead fueled his character, fostering fearlessness and a relentless pursuit of justice and protection for the innocent. His loss of sight has granted him a unique perspective, enabling an elevated sense of consciousness and awareness that surpasses the perception of an average person. This heightened sense has intertwined with a strengthened heart, instilling in him an unwavering determination to endure and overcome any obstacle. Like Daredevil, I too long to champion the cause of justice and prosperity, using my own challenges as stepping stones to strengthen my resolve and dedication to making a positive impact in the world.
