José Enrique Meléndez Ortiz
José Enrique Meléndez Ortiz (New Progressive Party) (also known as Quiquito) was an at-large member of the Puerto Rico House of Representatives. He left office on January 2, 2025.
Meléndez Ortiz (New Progressive Party) ran for election for Resident Commissioner of Puerto Rico. He did not appear on the ballot for the New Progressive Party primary on June 2, 2024.
Biography
José Enrique Meléndez Ortiz was born in Aibonito, Puerto Rico. Ortiz earned a law degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico His career experience includes working as a lawyer. He has been affiliated with the Young Republicans Federation and National Committeeman of the Young Republicans.[1]
