First and foremost, I am led by our Lord & Savior, and his son Jesus Christ. I am not a politician. I am a professional. 28 years as an engineer. The last 3 years as a real estate agent. I am also a concerned citizen. I see my district becoming less safe. Crime has risen. Last fall, it was reported the Venezuelan gang, Tren De Aragua, was operating in a North Dallas apartment complex not far from my residence. Every day I pass by homeless encampments near Frankford Rd and the North Dallas Tollway. I could no longer stand by and do nothing. These are serious problems which must be resolved. Yes, experience is important. However, some politicians have too much experience. I do not owe anyone any favors. I am going to serve by simply doing what I know in my heart is right for my family and for yours.
  • District 12 has a very serious homelessness problem. We must address it. My opponent loves to flaunt her res-ume. She has served as the Chair or Vice Chair of numerous homelessness committees. A decade of experience. Yet, over the last 6 years that my opponent has been in office, District 12's homelessness problem has become dramatically worse. I am focused on another word that starts with R-E-S: Results. Elect Jose Cavaos for Dallas City Council District 12. I will address our homelessness problem. I will get the job done.
  • The City of Dallas must comply with Tom Homan and ICE. We cannot allow Dallas to become a sanctuary city. As your next Dallas city council member, I will be very outspoken on this issue. We must also address the problem we have in our Dallas County District Attorney's office. DA John Creuzot fails to prosecute criminals. The actions of his office have lowered morale among our Dallas Police Officers. We need to take crime seriously. Last year, the crime rate in District 12 increased 11.91%. We must hire more police officers. Do whatever it takes. Because a city that does not provide safety for its residents is not a city that is worth living in.
  • I am strongly opposed to casinos in the City of Dallas. Casinos promote increased drug use, attract prostitution & human trafficking, and ultimately result in an increase in crime.
Protecting personal freedoms and eliminating property taxes. At the very least we can greatly reduce the tax burden on homeowners by taking a DOGE approach to our city budget. There is far too much wasteful spending happening at Dallas city hall, and as a fiscally responsible Conservative, I am passionate about these topics.
Go to Ted Cruz's website and look at his policy positions. That describes my political views very well. Also, I am a fan of Texas State House Representative Mitch Little's policy priorities. Both of those men are strong leaders with an excellent vision of what is best for Texas.
Candor, Integrity, Approachable, Determination and Principled.
I am a Constitutional Conservative. I am a fiscally responsible person. My Christian faith is the foundation of my life. My beliefs are Pro-Life, Faith, Family & Freedom.
Dallas city council is a service position. It requires listening, communication, and most of all action to deliver results for residents.
The Democrat Party Hates America by Mark R. Levin is my favorite book. Because the book describes how the Democrat party is a destructive force that has infiltrated in every aspect of our lives and in every institution of our society with the purpose of advancing a Marxist ideology and removing our God given rights. Basically, the Democrat party purpose is to destroy what made this beautiful country great.
What are my views of financial transparency and government accountability? We do not have nearly enough of it. I believe elected officials spend a few years in office and then begin to forget that those tax dollars belong to the citizens; not the government. The government should be accountable to taxpayers. After all, that is our money. The government has a duty to be accountable and transparent with the citizens who provide the tax dollars that they all too often eagerly spend on wants and not needs.
