Jose Rodriguez (New York)
Jose Rodriguez was a judge for the New York City Housing Court of Bronx County, New York. He was appointed to this court in 1991, originally serving in Kings County. He was reappointed in 2000, 2006 and 2011.[1]
Education
Rodriguez received his B.A. from Long Island University in 1977 and his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1980.[1]
Career
Rodriguez began his career as a private practice lawyer. He also worked as a staff and senior attorney for District Council 37: Municipal Employees Legal Services and as a staff attorney for East Brooklyn Legal Services prior to his judicial appointment. He joined the Housing Court in 1991.[1]
