I am a former technology and innovation consultant and 13 year resident of Union County who will fight in Raleigh to pass sensible gun laws, expand Medicaid, fully fund education, & fight climate change in NC.
  • I will fight to pass common sense gun legislation including Red Flag Laws and Universal Background Checks.
  • We must expand Medicaid to provide healthcare to 600,000 North Carolians, create thousands of jobs, and help save our rural hospitals.
  • We need to pass stronger legislation to stop corporate polluters and protect our air and water. I will make it a priority to pass legislation to rapidly move NC towards ending our use of fossil fuels for energy generation and replace them with green energy sources such as wind and solar energy.
Over the past 10 years our working families have been left behind to struggle while the Republican leadership of the North Carolina General Assembly has been cutting taxes for the rich and large corporations. When elected, I will fight for our Union County and North Carolina families by passing legislation to increase funding for our Pre-K programs and public schools, expand Medicaid to reduce the cost of health care and support our rural hospitals, pass sensible gun legislation such as Red Flag Laws and Universal Background checks that supported by a majority of North Carolinians, increase the NC minimum wage, which has not been raised in over 11 years, and protect the rights of all our residents, especially our migrant and LGBTQ+ communities.
