Jose Solorio was a 2016 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 1st Congressional District of Nevada.[1] Solorio was defeated by incumbent Dina Titus in the Democratic primary.[2]

Titus defeated Patrick Boylan and Jose Solorio in the Democratic primary, while Perry defeated Louis Baker, Stephanie Carlisle, Freddy Horne, Gary Johnston, and Jeff Miller to win the Republican nomination.
