Joseph A. Scalia, II
Joseph A. Scalia, II was a 2014 judicial candidate for the Eighth Judicial District Court in Nevada.[1] Scalia is known among colleagues as "El Pelon," meaning "the bald one" in Spanish.[2]

Scalia, II ran for election to the Eighth Judicial District Court.
Primary: He was successful in the primary on June 10, 2014, receiving 16.2 percent of the vote. He competed against Shann D. Winesett, Heather Bailey Zana, Ellen J. Bezian, Kristine Brewer, Jane D. Femiano, Linda Marquis and Thomas G. Kurtz.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 37.3 percent of the vote. He competed against Linda Marquis.

Education
Scalia earned a B.S. degree in economics from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 1986. He earned his J.D. at the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1991.[2]
Career
Since 1995, Scalia has been the owner of Joseph A. Scalia, Ltd.[4]
