Joseph B. Morris was a judge on the Texas Fifth District Court of Appeals. He served in that position from 1992 until December 31, 2012.[1][2]
Education
Justice Morris received his law degree from Southern Methodist University's Dedman School of Law in 1973.[1]
Career
Justice Morris began his legal career in 1973 as a private practice lawyer in Dallas. He worked in this capacity until 1987, when he joined the 101st District Court in Dallas as the presiding judge. In 1992, he joined the Fifth District Court of Appeals.[1]
