Joseph Bastarache was a candidate for at-large representative on the North Kansas City Schools school board in Missouri. Bastarache was defeated in the at-large general election on April 4, 2017.

Two seats on the North Kansas City Schools school board were up for at-large general election on April 4, 2017. In her bid for re-election, board incumbent Dixie Youngers faced newcomer Joseph Bastarache and former board member Terry Stone.[1] Youngers and Stone won the election.[2] Stone filed for re-election in the general election on April 5, 2016, but lost the election.[3]
