Joseph Brennan
Joseph Brennan (b. January 12, 1964) is a former Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing District 133 from 2007-2013.
Brennan earned his B.A. form Moravian College in 1986. His professional experience includes his work as Chief of Staff for Pennsylvania Representative T.J. Rooney.
Brennan served as an At-Large Member of the Northampton City Council from 1998 to 2002.

2012
Brennan ran in the 2012 election for Pennsylvania House District 133. Brennan ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on April 24 but withdrew prior to the November 6 general election. [1][2] Daniel McNeill replaced him on the general election ballot.
2010
Brennan won re-election to the 133rd District seat in 2010. He had no primary opposition and defeated Republican David Molony in the general election which took place on November 2, 2010.[3]

2008
On November 4, 2008, Brennan won re-election to the 133rd District seat of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. He received 17,157 votes, defeating Green Party candidate Guy Gray (2,326).[4]

2011 arrest
Brennan was arrested on June 22, 2011 for driving under the influence. He had a blood-alcohol level of 0.30 - almost four times over the legal limit. He faces charges of drunken driving, careless driving and public drunkenness. Brennan completed a 30-day inpatient rehabilitation program and, as part of his acceptance into the Pennsylvania first-time offender Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program (ARD), served 25 hours of community service, attended Alcohol Highway Safety classes and served six months of probation.[5][6]
2012 arrest
Brennan was arrested on August 15, 2012 for punching and choking his wife then driving away drunk. He pleaded guilty to driving under the influence and simple assault. [7] Brennan resigned from his post as state representative, served 90 days in jail and paid a $1,500 fine. [8]
