Joseph Brett Hines is a district court judge for the 38th District Court, which presides over Butler, Edmonson, Hancock, and Ohio counties in Kentucky. He was appointed by Gov. Matt Bevin (R) on February 1, 2017, to fill the vacancy left by the retirement of Renona C. Browning.[1]
Biography
Hines earned his bachelor's and master's degrees from Western Kentucky University. He holds a J.D. from the University of Louisville. Hines was a private practice attorney at the time of his judicial appointment.[1]
