Having grown up in Massachusetts, I made the decision in 2013 to move from Massachusetts to escape government overreach, the erosion of parental rights, bad roads and rampant illegal immigration and out of control spending. Thus I know what it is like to live in a state like Massachusetts. I vow to do everything in my power to never let that happen in NH and fight against radicalism of all types.
NH is great because we live by the values of low taxation, personal freedom and common sense legislation. I will fight to keep it free.- Personal freedom. After going through covid 19 and seeing the tyranny it brought out in governments across the world, it strengthened my resolve to fight for personal freedom. No one should ever be forced to take anything into their bodies that they do not feel comfortable taking. The discrimination that followed in regard to mandates, passports, being fired from jobs, etc was extremely alarming. I will always fight for personal freedom and the NH way.
- Fiscal responsibility. Without fiscal responsibility we are doomed as a society. As we can see nationally, our growing debt is out of control. $500 billion a year in interest on the debt could be spent in so many other places that would help Americans. In NH, I vow to always work towards responsible spending, eliminating waste and I will never vote for an income or sales tax. I will also work to bring businesses to NH. Providing an attractive business climate is necessary to do this and I will work each day to get this done.
- Fighting drugs. I believe in strong penalties for drug dealers and traffickers. The drug epidemic kills 100,000 Americans a year and many of those are your NH neighbors, family and friends. We all know someone who has been struck by this epidemic. Drug user arrests should be met with mandatory drug rehab in most, if not all, cases. We need to put funds into treatment rather than punish drug addicts by putting them in jail. Many ex-drug addicts end up being an asset in our fight to end this epidemic. We should be placing an emphasis on providing jobs for them to assist us in this fight whether that is through outreach, work at rehab or other methods.
Typically, the longer someone is in government, the more deceitful they become and less connected to their voters and the experiences that governed their values when they first decided to run for office.
