Joseph Casey (1814-1879) was a federal judge on the United States Court of Claims.

Casey was nominated to the Court of Claims by President Abraham Lincoln. He received his commission on May 23, 1861. He was appointed chief justice two years later, and served in that capacity until his retirement on December 1, 1870.[1]
