Joseph A. Costello, Jr. was a judge for the 38th Circuit Court in Monroe County, Michigan. He was elected to this position on November 5, 1996 and took office the following January 1st.[1][2] On November 4, 2008, he was re-elected to his current six-year term. That term would have ended on January 1, 2015, but he retired from the bench in on April 16, 2012.[3][4][5][6]

Career

Costello served on the Monroe County Probate Court from 1985 to 1996. He has also taught as an adjunct instructor at Monroe County Community College in 1994. In 1996 he was elected to the 38th Circuit Court in Monroe County, Michigan where he served until he retired on April 16, 2012.[2]
