Joseph G. Fazzary was a candidate for judge of the Schuyler County Court in Schuyler County, New York.[1]

Fazzary ran for election as a County Court Justice on November 8th after winning the Republican primary. He earned 45.9% of the vote and was defeated by Dennis J. Morris in the General Election.[2][1]

Party affiliation

Though both candidates are Republicans, Fazzary will represent the party in the general election. He is also running for the Justice Party.[3]

IJEC rating

The Independent Judicial Election Qualification Commissions has rated Fazzary as Qualified.[4]

Education

Fazzary earned his undergraduate degree from Syracuse University in 1989. He earned his J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law in 1992.[5]

Professional career

After his admission to the bar Fazzary worked in private practice, including time at Davidson & O’Mara, P.C. as a partner from 1993 until 2000. He has also served as and Assistant District Attorney for the Schuyler County District Attorney’s Office from 1993 until 1997 and then later as a District Attorney from 1998 until 2011.[5]
