Joseph J. Harper, Jr. is a former district court judge for the 7A Judicial District and the 7BC Judicial District, serving Nash, Wilson, and Edgecombe counties of North Carolina. He joined the court in 1988, and he retired in 2014.[1]
Education
Harper received both his undergraduate degree and his J.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.[2]
2010 election
Harper was re-elected to the district court after running unopposed in the general election.[3]
