Joseph K. Williams, III
Joseph K. Williams III is a judge of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. He assumed office in 2008. His current term ends on January 7, 2030.
Williams ran for re-election for judge of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. He won in the retention election on November 5, 2019.
Williams was first appointed to the court in 2008 by then Governor Ed Rendell. In 2009, he was elected to the position for a 10-year term.[1][2]
Education
Williams earned his undergraduate degree from Carnegie Mellon University and his J.D. from Duquesne University.[3] Williams also holds a master of psychology from the University of Pittsburgh.[4]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Williams spent 24 years as an attorney in Manchester. His focus in law was on real estate development, international transactions and criminal law.[4]

As a Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas judge, Williams earns $173,271 annually.[5]
