Joseph L. Foster was a judge for Tax Court in New Jersey, but was reassigned to the Vicinage 14 Superior Court. Foster was appointed to the bench in 1998 and obtained tenured status in 2005. He served on the court until he reached 70 years of age in 2017.[1][2]

Education

Foster received his undergraduate degree from St. Peter's College of 1969 and his J.D. from Rutgers Law School at Camden in 1972.[3]

Career

Prior to his re-assignment to the Vicinage 14 Superior Court, Foster was a judge on the New Jersey Tax Court. From 1996 until 1998, Foster was a partner at McLaughlin, Bennett, Gelson & Cramer. He was an associate at Ansell, Zaro, Bennett & Grimm in 1993. At the firm of Russo, Foster, Secare & Ford, Foster was a partner from 1980 through 1993.[3]
