Joseph L. Michaud
Joseph L. Michaud is an associate housing court justice for the Metro South Division of the Massachusetts Housing Courts. He was nominated to the court by Republican Governor Charlie Baker in 2018.[1] Michaud may serve on the court until he turns the mandatory retirement age of 70.[2]
Education
Michaud received an undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, a master's degree from Sam Houston State University, and a J.D. from the Franklin Pierce Law Center at the University of New Hampshire.[1]
Career
Before he became an associate justice for the Massachusetts Housing Courts, Michaud practiced law at his own practice, the Law Offices of Joseph L. Michaud. He also practiced at Sykes & Michaud, Saunders & Michaud, and Ponichtera & DeNardis. He has taught at various institutions, including Sam Houston State University, the United States Military Academy, Bristol Community College and the Defense Institute of International Studies.[1]
Michaud served in the United States Army for thirty years.[1]
